Hey all,
What is the current thinking around the best US MBA program for finance?
Booth seems to be the logical choice, since it has a concentration in finance and good placements in the various fields - private equity, VCs, etc.
But what about Harvard and Stanford? Would these be competitive with Chicago? I'm thinking I want to work in San Francisco after I graduate - would Stanford be better simply because of proximity?

What sort of finance?
Stanford and Berkeley will be best for top MBA roles in the Bay area. Wharton is a close third. Booth would be better than HBS.

Private equity or hedge funds.
It looks like Stanford's salaries are higher on average than Berkeley - so it feels like I should use Berkeley as a "safety" school.
