hi, I am more or less in the same situation:-) but do you have any work experience? I think that a couple of years of practice, especially in business law, can be of tremendous help to get a good post MBA position. that school, I dont know it, and as England there are many good school, maybe this is not a good one. Where would you like to work after your MBA?

this is a good sign that the school is not well recognised.

it is a 30yr old private business school in regents park, no international accreditation, validated by the Open University.

You have set your career aims high, so you should consider a better recognised university

Thank you for your answers, I would like to work in London in the banking sector, especially in compliance after my specialisation to answer to Muzzi.
My problem is that i have a civil law background, so i don't know if it is necessary since english companies would look for common law lawyers...
This is the reason why i wanted to pursue some management studies...
I am open for any advices...

Regards,

Marlene

i would also look for a better accredited and ranked school in the UK. this kind of schools like EBSL are really hard to evaluate, and there is no telling how it would help your job prospects. you can try and contact some alumni and ask them about this, and also look at the companies recruiting from that school. the career service is also important of course. see here:

my advise: practice and get some work experience in business law for a couple of years, then go to a better MBA program if you want to move to a corporate position.

From what I know...Its great for languages too and has fantastic credentials for it. First and foremost though, the programme content is current which is v important.

My brother is in management for an HR dept for a top investment bank specifically looking for MBA grads in London.

I spoke to him about this school and I know for a fact that employers in the city regard this school pretty highly. It's on a recommended list of schools for employee study that they have which also includes LSE and Cranbrook.

Employers these days are more interested in applied programs. EBSL is reflective of this and is definitely an up and coming school..
