This is a list of the most common types of MBA course specialization:

? Finance :MBA Finance is basically hard core accounts.

? Marketing :A person possessing great communication skills along with persuasion powers and the skills and knowledge required for marketing or advertising is best suited for the specialization

? Human Resources :This is a very popular course with people who love to communicate with and handle different types of people.

? Entrepreneurship: A lot of people have the misconception that MBA Entrepreneurship is only for people who wish to be self-employed.

I'm not sure that management accounting doesn't require more soft skills and fewer quant skills than market research or brand valuation. These are rather sweeping. Rather than focus on specialisation, most students will be well advised to get into the best school they can, and to study across the whole range of general management issues. Also see the useful ranking at http://www.find-mba.com/specializations -- some of the top schools for getting into these industries don't have formal specialisations.

What are your goals? Their MSc in marketing practice is, in my opinion, one of the best designed programmes in Europe.

I'd suggest the MSc in marketing for an in-house role and the MSc in marketing practice for consultancy.
