It would only be worth it if you have at least three years of work experience to build on.

Ok situation:

Age: 32
4 years of Key Account Sales
3.5 years of Management Consulting in second tier firm primarily work done in foreign countries
Master as stated above
GMAT - about to take - aiming for 700s

Post Grad plans:
- Transition abroad
- Preferably specialized Hedge/PE firms
- Alternatively General Mgmt position

Hope this helps

A full-time MBA would be a highly effective way for you to make that transition.
I suggest:
New York University
Columbia University
Wharton
Booth
Harvard Business School
Northwestern
Fordham University (yes, seriously)
London Business School
Cornell University

In addition to the regular MBAs, I also suggets you look at the one year MBA at Cornell and the Masters in Finance at LBS.

PS I'm assuming, when you say abroad, that you are not in the USA.

Thank you!

So you think it makes sense - thanks.

I will look into the Cornell program, that was a new one on the list. And I will look into HBS ofcourse.

Why Fordham?

Because of Fordham's NYC location it is one of the top ten schools worldwide with alumni who have done hedge work and hold MBAs.

If the US is your target I do think Cornell is well worth looking at: both the one and two year programmes.
