Intensive language course

Hi Duncan,

I'm working in IT with couple of years experience in business analyst and project management.

I would like to pursue an MBA, but after i have read some of the articles on this site, i just start thinking to consider an intensive course in English before to commit to something else.

Could you, please, recommend me some course/program in London ?

I'm looking for a college, university, some accreditation institution that offer English course. My level is a B2.

I'm about the relocate with work to London, and most probability 2022 will be dedicated to study and improve English and hopefully 2023 considering and MBA.

Thank you in advance for taking the time.

I can't help, but I would recommend not going to London. You will interact mostly with foreigners here. This is a very small island and one or two hours outside London gives you a very different experience.

The British Council in your country may help. I would suggest you aim at cities with 200,000 or fewer people. Many further education colleges might also support you.

Winter 001, your desire to learn English is commendable.I think the best way to improve your language skills is to fully immerse yourself in the environment of native speakers.Of course, schools offer amazing learning opportunities and certificates of proficiency as well, but to begin with it is communication and life with native speakers that will give you a big boost in your skills. In today's world, your language level is enough to confidently move up in your career. For a successful career, your language level is now of secondary importance. The most important thing is a professionally written CV which can show your achievements, qualities and skills well as overlap your weaknesses.
