MBA in Luxury - exchange to Hong Cong

hannah

Dear All,

I am starting my MBA course in Luxury Brand Marketing (2012/2013) in GCU London Campus. My husband has find out recently that his company relocate him to Hong Cong.
I have got two questions for you:
1. Does anyone know if there is a University in Hong Cong that has a similar course to this one that I am taking?
2. Do you know if I could begin my studies in one University (for one semester approximately) and then continue and finish in another one? (Is there any possibilities to exchange the Universities - GCU doesn't have a Campus in Hong Cong)
I would appreciate any help!
Thank you in advance.

I can't think of any programs in Hong Kong that have a focus in luxury. The pathways to luxury brand management there are usually through either the stronger local programs (CUHK or the University of Hong Kong,) or through a specialized global program (ESSEC has strong ties to the Asian luxury industry.)

2. Do you know if I could begin my studies in one University (for one semester approximately) and then continue and finish in another one?

I doubt it, but you can check with the MBA programs in Hong Kong that you are applying to.

An MBA in Luxury Brand Management can lead to a variety of jobs in this sector, including roles like marketing managers, business development consultants, and brand managers. Some schools offer specialized MBA programs in Luxury, as well as related fields like Fashion or Retail.

Many students interested in breaking into the luxury sector gravitate to hubs like Paris or Milan, where many of the top firms are based; others go to New York City or London to be in the heart of the action.
