I am currently in application for an MBA in Canada at Ryerson. I am now waiting to hear back.
However with the current concerns about health safety I am becoming anxious. We don't know what it is going to be like in the fall.
In any case it is taking a long time to get a decision.
Is anybody thinking about postponing plans for pursuing MBA because of Covid19?

Most people and pundits don't expect the virus cycle to last till Sept 2020. All businesses, schools etc are scheduled to reopen by mid April at the latest. The population density of Toronto including downtown remain lower than say Mumbai.
By the time you actually fly-in (if you are based outside of Canada) the Covid 19 would be subdued in my opinion. What you could track is the currency exchange. 1 USD = 1.32 CAD before covid. Within 2-3 weeks the rate is 1 USD = 1.39 CAD
For anyone earning in US dollars, the Canadian program just became cheaper. So track the currency fluctuations in your earning currency.

Within 24 Hours the Fx rates have become invalid. Now,
1 USD = 1.41 CAD
The crazy fluctuations in Fx rates are for sure going to create havoc in some student's budget and opportunity for others.

Thanks. It seems like the program will become more affordable for me. I will try not to worry too much about the coronavirus.

1 USD = 1.42 CAD now. Of course, it will be very volatile right now, and who knows where this will all end up 6 months from now.
