Hi
I took GMAT 630(quants 49 verbal 27). It was a shocking score for me. I sent my scores to the following :-
1. A &M Texas
2. Smeal school of business
3. SUNY
4. Krannert, Purdue
5. Fisher, Ohio
10th standard - 86
12th standard - 84
BTech - 75.5 (which as per Indian standards is good)
Work ex - 2 (TCS)
Extra curricular - vice head girl in school, school basketball player, college throwball team captain for 2 consecutive years and won both times. Part of an initiative 'Empower' at workplace meant to teach basic English to the lower staff. My job involves frequent and effective interaction with clients, based in US.
Please let me know my chances of making it into a good b school and my options.
Thanks
GMAT 630

Take a look at www.find-mba.com/board/36065
I think you stand no chance even of getting interviews from these schools, with the exception of SUNY. There's no point applying to courses where the average GMAT and work experience is so far in excess of what you have.
My recommendation is that you take an extra year to get more work experience and a much higher GMAT.

You should study more for the GMAT, focussing on the half you did least well at, and retake the GMAT. With a GMAT around 680 I think you could look at the tier 4 schools at http://www.find-mba.com/board/27082 as long as you apply early.
