In Europe the MBAs without work experience will be much worse, in every way, than the MSc degrees offered by business schools for pre-experience candidates. There are no respected or internationally-accredited MBAs in Europe for people without work experience. Take an MSc if you want to get a good job, earn a respected qualification of earn money. If you just want a low-quality MBA, then why come to Europe?

Hi Nazme,

There's more demand for MSc than for MBAs, but there's also more supply of MSc graduates. However, the market is also segmented. There's a short supply of graduates from business schools which are internationally respected, and they get higher salaries. Indeed, MSc graduates from respected schools get higher salaries than MBA graduates from schools without international accreditation.

If you look at Monday's financial times you'll see the top MSc in management programmes (http://rankings.ft.com/businessschoolrankings/masters-in-management-2011). Their graduates work for multinational companies around the world. Attending one of those programmes will give you much better potential than an unaccredited MBA or MSc at one of Britains younger universities. Just compare the salaries!

PS I think that, for you, it would be worth looking at the top 12 MSc programmes for international mobility: Bocconi, EADE, ESADE, ESSEC, Grenoble, HEC Lausanne, HEC Paris, LSE, St. Gallen, Strathclyde and the CEMS consortium.

I think you've misunderstood the point I am making in this discussion. I think those pre-experience MBAs are a bad investment. I cannot recommend one to you.

Hi Nazme,

The best MSc programmes worldwide are the ones in the FT ranking, which I link to above.

On the Gulf, perhaps this thread will also help you:
