Students interested in an MBA degree from the University of Rochester's Simon Graduate School of Business now can choose to do it in one year, according to a Simon School blog post.
The new program covers a similar core curriculum as the Simon School's other MBA options, and allows students to pursue a single concentration. The Simon School offers 15 different concentrations, including traditional focus areas like Marketing and Finance as well as hybrid options like Business Environment and Public Policy or Accounting and Information Systems.
The program is designed for students with four or more years of work experience and want to build on their current functional career path.
The new one-year MBA program adds another option to the Simon School's MBA options. Students can still choose to pursue the degree in a traditional two-year format, or an 18-month accelerated option.
Recruiting has already started for the program's first cohort, which launches next June.
For more information, please see the Simon School's one-year MBA blog post, or the one-year MBA program web page.
New program launches in June 2013
