The Program

The LMU Executive MBA is a 21-month program designed for experienced mid-career executives with a bachelor’s degree and at least 6 years of professional, managerial or entrepreneurial experience. Our classes meet all day Friday and Saturday every other weekend, with a new EMBA class starting every year in late August. Our graduates receive an AACSB-accredited MBA degree.

The LMU EMBA is designed as a true principle-centered educational experience, with the goal of promoting leaders who are governed by the highest standards of character and integrity. In short, we help you to be not just a better leader, but a better person.

At the heart of our program lies the classroom experience. Our small class sizes create a uniquely personalized learning environment where you receive a high level of one-on-one attention. There is a strong emphasis on teamwork, participation and interpersonal communication, all in supportive and non-judgmental surroundings. Through lectures, case studies and projects that integrate course materials, we create a framework that maximizes learning, enabling you to discover and develop your own particular strengths and leadership skills.

Our program is a true learning partnership between students, faculty and staff that stimulates your personal development. Our highly regarded faculty are not there solely to lecture, but to inspire you to think for yourself and gain a deeper understanding of your own personal talents, values and passions. As an integral part of the EMBA program, you are assigned an Executive Coach, who will serve as your mentor and help you develop your own professional growth plan. Our coaches are experienced executives and professionals who have undergone specific training for the dual coach/mentor relationship they perform. In addition, and wherever possible, they will tap into their own professional networks and resources, creating valuable career opportunities for you.

As you progress through the EMBA program, your teachers, staff and peers will become essential and trusted partners in your personal and professional growth.
