The Business School

Nagoya University of Commerce and Business (NUCB) was founded in 1953, and has grown into one of the premier business schools in Japan. It is the only business school in Japan to be internationally accredited by both the AACSB and AMBA.

Our mission is to provide a high-quality education in order to develop leaders and entrepreneurs with a 'Frontier Spirit' and a global perspective, and the ability to contribute positively to the business community. The university endeavors to meet the challenges of globalization and to maintain a competitive edge by providing outstanding programs in management education, and opportunities in the global arena.

NUCB also enjoys a network of over 80 partner business schools around the world, enabling students to study abroad without additional tuition fees.

The Program

The Global MBA program is a one-year, full-time MBA program offered completely in English.

The curriculum for Global Leader Program is designed to train you to become a competitive leader in the global economy. Covering various fields required for a global leader, Asian perspectives related to business are also reflected to all aspects of the curriculum.

Entry Requirements

- A minimum of 16-year education with bachelor degree or its equivalent
- A minimum of 3-year work experience or its equivalent
- GMAT or GRE Score (may be waived by Preliminary Screening*)
- TOEFL PBT 550, CBT 213, iBT 80 / IELTS 6.0 / TOEIC 750 (those who have not completed their undergraduate or graduate program in English)

* Candidates who do not meet the qualifications as well as candidates who wish for a GMAT waiver are required to take a Preliminary Screening prior to application. Email the following two documents to the administration office ([email protected]) by the Preliminary Screening Deadline.
