Naresuan University (NU), was named after King Naresuan the Great. Formerly a campus of Srinakharinwirot University, NU was established as a public university in 1990. Although not many years have passed since its inception, NU has already earned the reputation of being one of the most progressive universities in Thailand. It aims to be a comprehensive university dedicated to the development of world-class graduates and new knowledge for the purpose of creating excellent resources for regional and national development. Serving as a foundation of higher education in nine provinces of the lower northern region, along with Phayao Province, Naresuan University has long been recognized for its innovative academic excellence and outstanding achievement in both research and professional services.

Naresuan University - Bangkok Campus (NUBKK) was opened in 1999 in order to bring high-quality graduate level programs to professionals living in Bangkok. This facility was founded with the intention to bringing truly international programs to Thailand. NUBKK has numerous international partners and delivers programs both in English and Thai. Classes are held at the Narersuan University - Bangkok Campus, Wave Place Building, 55 Wireless Road, Patumwan, Bangkok 10330, Thailand. The building is located in Bangkok's business district near Ploenchit Road. The building is new and contains state-of-the -art learning facilities. These facilities include Internet access, a computer lab, and facilities for a high-tech classroom. In addition, each classroom is fully equipped with the latest in audio-visual technology, for a more conducive learning environment.

The Program

The dual-degree MBA program with Southern Cross University, Australia at Naresuan University – Bangkok Campus is different from most MBA programs in Thailand in that upon completion, students will receive two MBA degrees, one from Naresuan University and one from Southern Cross University. The university councils of both Naresuan University and Southern Cross University accredit the program taught in Thailand. Entry Requirements

An applicant must possess:
- A bachelor's degree in any field of study from an accredited university or college or the equivalent
- Fluency in English; Students must meet the university’s English language requirement IELTS 6.0 or paper based TOEFL 550 or computer based TOEFL 213. An applicant whose IELTS is 5.0 will be considered for admission with conditions by Naresuan University.

Students who are undergoing their last year in an undergraduate program will also be taken into consideration, provided the degree or equivalent will have been received by the time they commence this postgraduate program.

Bangkok is the capital of and largest city in Thailand. It is located on the east bank of the Chao Phraya River, near the Gulf of Thailand. Bangkok is the wealthiest and most populous city in Thailand, as well as the 22nd most populous city in the world. Although Bangkok now has roughly 7 million registered inhabitants, the actual population is much higher, and including commuters from the surrounding areas, may reach an estimated 15 million people during the day time, making the city one of the most densely populated in the world. Recently, the value of Bangkok's economic output has matched that of Singapore, making Bangkok a major economic and financial center in Southeast Asia.
