Founded in Beijing in November 2002 by Li Ka-shing, Asia's most successful entrepreneur, Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business is China's first private, non-profit, and independent business school. Headquartered in Beijing with campuses in Shanghai and Guangzhou, Cheung Kong offers MBA, EMBA, and executive education programs.

Entry Requirements

- A minimum of a bachelor's degree
- Preferably two years or above of work experience
- A competitive GMAT or GRE score
- A high level of proficiency in English

Application Procedure

We are currently only accepting online applications at online.ckgsb.com. Before each deadline, the applicant must complete the online application as well as submit copies of various supporting documents.
Once your application is completed, the MBA Admissions Office will review your application and verify the recommendation letters, degree certificate, and academic transcript you provided. If everything is satisfactory, you will be notified by email once we approve the interview invitation.
After the interview has taken place, the MBA Admissions Board reviews your interview results, compares them with other applicant interviews, and makes their decision. You will be advised by both regular mail and e-mail of the decision shortly after the interview (normally within two weeks).
We are currently recruiting 60 students for the 2011 intake.

Tuition and Fees

Application Fee: RMB 800 or USD 120 (non-refundable)
Tuition: RMB 308,000

Financial Aid

All scholarships are granted on a non-cash basis. Thedre are the three scholarship options available for MBA applicants. The applicant may choose one of the following options or a combination of all three:

1. Cheung Kong Early Admissions Scholarship for International Students

Cheung Kong will award those international students who apply during the Early Round with a special Early Admissions

2. Cheung Kong Scholarships:

- First Category Scholarships : RMB 278,000
- Second Category Scholarships : RMB 150,000
- Third Category Scholarships : RMB 60,000

Social Responsibility and the Green Future Scholarships: from RMB 20,000 to RMB 80,000

3. Student Loans

Bank loans are available only to mainland Chinese students. Students meeting the criteria set by the bank can apply for a student loan with a discounted interest rate.

Location

Cheung Kong's main campus is based in Beijing, a city with 2,500 years of history that now stands at the center of economic and political changes taking place in China.

Located in the Oriental Plaza, a commercial center in the heart of the capital. Chang'an Jie, the Avenue of Eternal Peace (also called China's Main Street), stretches in front of the campus, linking it to Tian'anmen Square and the Forbidden City in the west and to Beijing's Central Business District just east. Stretching across three floors of the Oriental Plaza's towers, the campus' classrooms and meeting areas offer stunning views of the Beijing skyline.

The program's location also offers unparalleled opportunities for networking with an influential group of Chinese nationals and expatriates – some of whom serve as visiting lecturers at the Cheung Kong campus.

Accommodation

In order to provide Cheung Kong MBA students with a comfortable environment for living and enjoying the “bonding spirit” during their studies, especially for case studies and group projects, Cheung Kong cooperates with Century Towers to provide our students with dormitory that is located at Shuang Jing, No.18 Guangqumenwai Avenue, Beijing. The building is 50 meters away to subway line 10, and surrounded with supermarkets, restaurants and multiple bus lines. It is a premium service apartment with all the equipments for living with your bags.

Student Life

Cheung Kong prides itself on its friendly, collegial atmosphere. The limited class size and an active club life make it easy for Cheung Kong community members to get to know each other and develop lasting friendships. Many students also choose to play an active part in student clubs and activities.
