The University

The University of North Carolina at Greensboro is a doctoral granting institution in The UNC System and is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. The current graduate student enrollment is nearly 3,800 in a total student population of more than 17,000.

The Business School

The Bryan School of Business and Economics offers twenty programs leading to bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees and graduate-level certificates. With 2,000 undergraduate and 450 graduate students, the Bryan School is the largest business school in North Carolina's Piedmont Triad region. Accredited by AACSB International, the Bryan School is among the top 10% of business schools nationwide that have earned accreditation at the undergraduate and graduate levels in both business and accounting.

The Program

The Bryan MBA offers a full-time, twenty-one month, day program that welcomes applicants with limited or no professional experience and a flexible, self-paced, evening program for professionals. Both programs feature twelve hours of elective credit that students can use to focus in areas such as finance, marketing, HR, international business, or entrepreneurship or students may apply their elective credit toward one of UNCG's many post-baccalaureate certificates.

The Faculty

The Bryan MBA features the only MBA faculty in North Carolina to have not just one, but two professors who have received the Board of Governors Award for Excellence in Teaching. With a 4:1 student to faculty ratio and an average class size in the mid-twenties, Bryan MBA students benefit from regular and meaningful interaction with their professors who are internationally regarded as leaders in their respective fields.

Applications for the Bryan Day MBA are accepted for the fall semester with a priority deadline of March 1. For the Bryan Evening MBA, applications should be completed by July 1 for the fall semester and November 1 for the spring semester. International applications should be completed two months in advance of these dates.

Full-time (12 credit hours), in-state:$3103.50 per semester
Full-time (12 credit hours), out-of-state: $8739.00 per semester
Part-time (6 credit hours), in-state: $1857.63 per semester
Part-time (6 credit hours), out-of-state: $6084.25 per semester

Summer Program

MBA courses are offered during the summer semester and opportunities for study abroad, internships, and consulting projects are also available during the summer months.

Pre-MBA Course

There is no prerequisite coursework required for the Bryan MBA and approximately two-thirds of current Bryan MBA students are from non-business undergraduate majors.
