Marc Day Director Executive Full Time MBA |
The Henley Executive full Time MBA, after extensive research, has been completely re-engineered to deliver a challenging and action based learning programme. Twelve months later you will be back in the workplace equipped with the tools and personal presence to confidently deliver in senior leadership roles.
The Full Time programme is not simply about widening your knowledge it is equally about personal growth and development.
How you learn
You will be delighted to know that learning by PowerPoint is not our method of teaching! You learn from your fellow participants (all mature, practising managers) and our leading faculty in high performing learning groups. You work on real issues facing today’s organisations and since your learning is experientially based, it applies to the real world - it’s not just something you read in a textbook! We use many different ways to engage you as a learner, because what we discuss and debate in class will be practically applied by you in your business world.
Who you learn with
Generally there are between 20 - 30 individuals studying for the Henley Full Time MBA in each intake. They have typical profiles as follows: |
 |
High performing groups
Our programme tries to mirror the work of a senior manager. As teamwork is a daily fact of life for individuals such as yourself, we emulate this style of working during your twelve-month MBA programme.
You’ll be part of two teams. The first team is all your MBA colleagues that you will study with on your intake. This larger group is then split into teams of six people to form your learning team. As a member of this team you will work to deliver practical assignments, projects and MBA study work.
But we don’t expect you to be a natural and accomplished team expert. We firstly select teams that are carefully balanced. Then we coach you on teamwork management processes, influencing skills, project management, facilitation and conflict resolution. These transferable skills will become invaluable when you return to work.
You as an individual
In addition to the learning that takes place in groups, emphasis is also placed on developing you as an individual. We help you to leverage your strengths, develop new management skills and help you prepare for the challenges of a future senior leadership role. Individual excellence and collaborative learning are encouraged through group and individual assessment, mentoring, counselling and career planning.
International
The programme is truly international in terms of:
 | ● | The location - you will visit and work in three continents; Europe, Asia and Africa |
 | ● | Faculty - you learn from faculty and business people based in these continents |
 | ● | Your fellow participants - a truly international mix of talent |
You will be encouraged to think strategically about business and a management world that is increasingly taking on the character of a global village.
Realising you career aspirations
The Executive Full Time MBA is often a time for people to rethink their career direction. And we know this is important for you, so work starts in week one with career planning. Then, when you have firmer career plans we support you in translating them into reality. In fact careers planning and job searching is so important we decided to embed it into the heart of our programme. Our careers support:

|
● |
