The MBA Curriculum

In keeping with the spirit of Singapore Management University, the SMU MBA is unconventional in delivery and design. Two programmes will be taught - a 16-month Flex-time and 12-month Full-time MBA starting in September and January respectively.

The SMU MBA is intense and accelerated. The structure of the curriculum is innovative and includes core classes traditionally offered as electives. The complement of a solid ‘soft skill’ base taught with a traditional ‘hard skill’ component ensures the SMU MBA produces leaders with the cross cultural sensitivities required by a global economy.

Both Flex-time and Full-time programmes focus on leadership and communication, with a solid foundation in the traditional functions of management. Through this, graduates develop a deep understanding of the growing and important industries in Asia and their impact on an increasingly complex global market.
