Since the fall semester of the academic year of 2006-2007 Qafqaz University has started the MBA program.

The program offers electives in the following areas:

1.     General Management

2.     Finance

This program aims to prepare new professional specialists for the rapidly developing modern business world. In the university the program is being organized completely in English language and the lessons are all taught by the native speakers that all have PhD degree. They bring to the classroom their extensive teaching experience supplemented by research, consultancy and industry experience.

The education is provided on paid basements with credit system. Regardless the bachelors’ background every individual can enroll in the program. For the candidates with business prerequisites the program duration is three semesters (one and half year), but   the candidates without business prerequisites will complete the program in four semesters (two years). The education is provided in the modern campus of the university which is located in Khirdalan. The transport service is also provided to the university campus from the city centre.

The program has been structured to enable busy managers to acquire management education while continuing to fulfill their professional responsibilities. Thus, the lessons will be at the second part of the day, for the full attendance of the students.

 Interaction with business leaders and frequent visits to local business organizations keep the students tuned to the actual work environment. In additional regular seminars, conferences will be held by the professors and experienced managers in the wide, well lightened auditoriums which have been supplied with the contemporary facilities.

Our academic staff uses a unique teaching experience, “Case Study Method” which emphasizes experiential learning. Besides all, a modern computer laboratory and an electronic library provide students a great scientific research opportunity.

At the end of the education, there is no graduate project, but any student who passes all the exams successfully, earns right for the MBA degree.

          After the graduation, the Career Development Centre provides substantial assistance to students in seeking placements for internship as well as regular jobs. Career fairs, company presentations and recommendations to companies for graduates are some of efforts in this regard.
