Overview
The great majority of our M.B.A. students work full time. They are learning about business in the classroom while practicing it in the workplace. That’s why we, in the Stillman School, changed our curriculum to match the needs and experiences of our students. We didn’t make it easier for them, we made it faster.
Our streamlined "Practical MBA" program (42 credits instead of the usual 60 and 18 months instead of almost two years) is centered on an integrated core consisting of:
- Four “Hub” courses that integrate principles in six fundamental disciplines: accounting, economics, finance, management, marketing and management information systems
- Two required Breadth courses – Social Responsibility and International Perspective
- A capstone course integrates the material across the six disciplines
Students can choose from the following concentrations:
- Accounting
- Finance
- Information Technology Management
- International Business
- Management
- Marketing
- Pharmaceutical Management
- Sport Management
You can also choose to pursue a double concentration by completing only nine additional credits.
Scholarship Opportunities
Through the generosity of many alumni and friends, the Stillman School continues to be able to offer current Stillman students some great opportunities to earn scholarships and prizes.
In recognition of Seton Hall’s mission to form students as global servant leaders, and as part of the graduation requirement for the M.B.A. degree, students are required to complete 20 hours of volunteer work for a community-based organization of their choice. You are also invited to explore the Stillman School’s Centers for Academic Excellence, which allow you to expand your “know how” and connect with individuals in the field. These centers include:
Dual - Degrees:
- M.B.A./M.A.D.I.R. (60 credits)
- M.B.A./J.D. (4 years, full-time)
- M.B.A./M.S.N. (54 credits)
