Full-Time MBA Program

The Koç University MBA (Master of Business Administration) program was started in 1993 to provide a comprehensive business education involving a rigorous and innovative curriculum taught by world class faculty. It is designed to take the best features of MBA programs offered at major universities in North America and Europe and adapt them to the Turkish environment. The language of instruction is English.

A Provisional MBA (PMBA) program was initiated in 1997 to accommodate qualified MBA candidates who lack English language proficiency. These students spend one year in intensive English language training before starting MBA Program.

The primary objective of the Koç MBA program is to develop business leaders for the 21st century. Graduates of the program are prepared for a career in general management, or in a specialized field such as investment banking, marketing management, or supply chain management. Since most entry-level managerial positions are in such fields as marketing, finance or operations management, the program offers the opportunity to concentrate on one or two of these areas of business.

This program is consistent with the goals of Koç University which was founded in 1993 as a private non-profit organization supported by the financial resources of the Vehbi Koç Foundation. From the very start the University has made a commitment to being an academic center of excellence in teaching and research and being recognized worldwide with its students, faculty, educational and research programs.
