Dual Masters Program  

Joint MSW / MBA

Newman University offers a dual masters program enabling students to earn both the Master of Social Work (MSW) and Master of Business Administration (MBA) degrees with 12 credit hours of the MSW program (SWK 6153, SWK 6703, SWK 6803, SWK 7003) applied to both degrees.

The program is open only to students enrolled in either the MSW or MBA program at Newman University. Admission to each degree program is required (i.e., applicants must satisfy the admission requirements of each program separately). Students enrolled in one of the two programs must be admitted to the other program prior to completing their first degree. Students in the dual masters program must satisfy all degree requirements for the MSW degree as described below.

In order to satisfy the additional requirements for the MBA degree, students are required to earn 32 total credit hours as follows:
