MA in Business - General Information
The objective of the MBA Program is to equip students with more specialized training to develop their skills in applying managerial concepts and techniques in their profession. The programme is flexible enough to allow for curriculum changes to meet new developments and specific interests of the students. The Master in Business Administration is specifically designed to meet the educational needs of management practitioners but also motivates those students that continue their further education with a PhD.
We offer two options to the students :
1. MBA without Thesis
The Master in Business Administration without theises requires the completion of a total course work of 30 credit hours. In addition one term-project (non-credit) is prepared by students who normally complete their studies 2 semesters. This period may be extended to up to two years which especially suits those students that are study their master degree while already in a job. The lecturers will provide students with sound theoritical and practical understanding of their subjects. Those who successfully complete the examinations will qualify for a Master Degree.
MBA with Thesis
The program consists of 8 courses (2 credits); one seminar and a Thesis. The Seminar and Thesis are non-credit.
One year is required for the Thesis after completion of the courses and the Seminar. The normal time limit for completion of the program is two years. This may be extended in exceptional circumstances at the discretion of the Faculty Postgraduate Board.
