I would like to know about the requirements of university grades to apply for an MBA program.

My average was a B- throughout the 4 years but lower in the second half. Would an MBA school put a higher weighting on my GMAT scores or do they heavily look at the grades from my Bachelor program?

If so, which schools would be better to apply for in a situation like this?

First of all, it really depends on the business school you are applying to - but in general, most of the schools would be flexible with some of the requirements, if other variables(like work experience, GMAT score ect.) are really good. as i understand, you don't have any work experience yet, and that's too bad - work experience does weight a lot when it comes to MBA. but if you do have an amazing GMAT score, and write some breath taking essays, they might be willing to forgive the moderate average.

Hey,

Canadian schools tend to look at the last two years, and on average, successful candidates have a B average. Fortunately, unlike med school and law schools where the success of one's candidacy is closely correlated with one's grades, business schools are generally more flexible--esp if your GMAT scores are great. They also place a great prime on your work and life experiences. You said you have 3 years of working experience right? I'd say give it a try right now.
