MBA in TOURISM management (not hospitality)
I am looking for a good tourism management MBA in Europe. Sun Jan 18, 2009 06:23 AM I am 26 years old and have a Ba. Design, which I am not going to use. I am about to start my third year as a full time european tour manager and have future aspirations to ideally, begin my own tour company or follow a career in existing tourism companies within europe. My next step then,is clearly an MBA in Tourism management. The MBA in TM offered at WU and MODUL in vienna looks good, but I don't know how well this is rated in the industry. I have looked at the websites of all the top ranked schools according to the economist and the financial times, but I seem to either be underqualified, or cost is a problem. I don't want anything in hotel management, this is not what I want to be doing. I need to be learning about the european tourism industry, not how to run a food and beverage department. Please help me!!!! cheers, L. |

Please try enrolling with the Institut Universitaire Kurt Bosch (IUKB) Sion, Switzerland. I am a presently a full-time MBA-Tourism Major student at IUKB. I am half way through the 1 year program. It appears to fit into what you want. Check out the details on the school website www.iukb.ch. Good luck. - Quadri
