SBS-Swiss Business School
Thu Oct 16, 2008 04:01 PM Hi I need some advice. I am interested in the MBA program SBS-swiss business school in zurich has to offer. Do you know if it is a good school to spend all that money on. I am canadian so i dont know if i get a degree from them if it would be recognized world wide. Secondly, have you heard any feed back on their curriculum in terms of the work load with the Exec MBA, reason i am asking is because i would like to work while i go to school. thanks I look forward to your reply |

I haven't looked at the SBS MBA myself lately, but when it comes to general info on accreditation, the main ones you want to look out for are AMBA (UK), FIBAA (Germany and Austria), Conference des Grandes Ecoles (France + Switzerland), EQUIS (Europe and Asia), AACSB (US), ACBSP (US). The US also has a number of more local, state-wide accrediting bodies, while some countries - Germany and Austria, for example - also employ a governmentally-regulated federal system. Ideally one would prefer to see at least one of the major acc. bodies listed as recognising a particular programme.
