Part time MBA from UK
Hello all,Thu Sep 25, 2008 10:30 AM I have been working in London for about 2.5 years now. Overall I have 6 yrs exp. I am looking for a part time MBA course here in UK. Carried out a few searches myself and came across quite a few reputed schools here like Cranfield, Manchester, Warwick etc. And all this has led to a confusion, cant make my mind where to apply and also I probably still dont know about a lot of good schools here. I need some help on this. Below is what I am expecting 1. Good part time MBA ranking 2. Reasonable fees. Hoping for |

I'm afraid you'll just have to spend more time doing research. Choosing a school and a programme is almost never straight forward, and you should expect to invest a lot of time in making your selection. There are a lot of people on here with experience of, and information relating to, a number of reputable UK schools, but ultimately the choice has to be yours. However, as you're in London already, and have plenty of experience, the whole process should be slightly easier.Thu Sep 25, 2008 12:51 PM You may already have found and used the search MBA function on this website. If not, have a crack at it - most people agree that it's quite helpful, and at least a good place to start. You can search by city, type of degree (specialisation, part-time/full-time, etc.). There are also rankings on here which can give you a guide as to which are the most popular MBAs in a given region. These, however, should not be confused with the "official" annual MBA rankings compiled by, for example, the Economist and the Financial times. Go to their websites, choose the Business Education or MBA rankings options, and have a look. In each case you'll find rankings specific to Europe, with a considerable number of UK-based schools appearing in the top 100. Have a look also for any articles on particular schools/programmes they might feature, as well as on a variety of topics which might be of interest to you. Above all, don't be too worried about feeling a bit confused at first. It's normal, and far better than blindly choosing one place without giving proper consideration to your alternatives.
