Italia lawyer - MBA?
I'm an Italian lawyer 31 year, I graduated with 110 on 110 marks plus Honor, since 2001 I'm a "professor assistant" at the University of Modena. I got my licence to pratice law in 2004 since then I've benn working as a lawyer first In a lawfirm then in my own studio.Sun Sep 07, 2008 02:23 PM I'm starting to be tired to be a lawyer and I was thinking about an MBA to change my job. Do you guys think it's a good idea or it's not? Am I too old for that? What University could I apply? Is would be hard with my legal background to get in? Francesco |

I think its very viable. In fact I think your legal background would be a huge advantage, and the two together could open up a huge variety of opportunities. Nor should you worry about your age - all MBA students have completed at least a BA and gained a couple of years' work experience first. I'm therefore fairly certain that 31 is probably about average, perhaps even slightly on the young side. Just one question: If you're tired of law, do think business will be any more interesting?

I agree with Lukeh, you have a very good record to apply for an MBA.Sun Sep 14, 2008 04:34 PM If you want to continue working Italy Bocconi is far the best choice for you! |
