Hi all,Wed Aug 13, 2008 09:21 AM Can somebody tel me about James cook university,Singapore?....accord to their website,they take people with no work experience also....is JCU mba worth?....will i be able to get a job in singapore or places like UK,USA? |

It's a proper university, and it looks like they take the MBA seriously. However, I wasn't able to find any evidence of accreditation by any of the relevant boards. Accreditation is perhaps the single most important thing an MBA needs to be taken seriously, and the first thing to look for when trying to work out whether an individual programme is any good. Without it, the degree probably won't be recognised in the UK and Europe, where there are a huge number of graduates from well recognised and respected MBA programmes. yes its affiliated by an ausie uni.. having campus in singapore..recognised all over world.. n u will b happy to know that it has nw the 2nd largest campus in singapore after NUS.. the new campus of jcu is the former nanyang campus.. and i hav heard that it is also recognised in india.. nd if u com with mba degree and an experience of 1 yr or so than its a very good option.. if u cant do job there then in india u can hav some good jobs..Fri Aug 29, 2008 01:11 PM and i have also applied for mba course in jcu singapore.. i m joining frm the batch starting frm oct 27, 2008.. --- [Edited 29 Aug 2008 by nitin_24into7] |
