Hey Jaaaa,

I don't think there is a simple answer to that - it really depends on a variety of variables.

why don't u start looking up what programs are out there here:

www.find-mba.com/asia

and then, after u find some u like, check they're rankings(important for assessing how good the school is)

Hi all,

Just in case you're still interested in MBA programs in China, Hult International Business School offers an interesting one-year MBA program in Shanghai: www.hult.edu/mba-program/campuses/shanghai

Best of luck!

Actually Hult does not offer a one-year MBA in Shanghai. It offers a one-year MBA in Boston, London and Dubai that offers the opportunity to take electives in Shanghai.

That's right. I took me 30 minutes yesterday to find out about this.

I don't think it's honest that they are talking about "Hult's Shanghai MBA" on their website: www.hult.edu/mba-program/campuses/shanghai

Dear all,

I'd like to apologize for my lack of clarity on this matter. You're absolutely right in saying that Hult offers a one-year MBA program with one module/electives in Shanghai--not an entire year-long program. This is mentioned on the website, so I'm sorry if the implication was otherwise.

whatever you all do, if you do not speak Mandarin, think hard about studying in China. 99% of you will end up wherever you have come from with an unrecognizable degree in your own country. If you do speak Chines and want to commit to staying in China, shcools such as CEIBS and Tsinghua are very good choices

Why not China?

China is one of the most developing countries of the world!
If you learn in China then you can understand China business enviroment better and learn its language, it is a perfect chance! so why not?

Welcome :-)

I've heard that EMLYON has a campus in Shanghai - I'm sure if you studied at a satellite campus you'd be able to spend some time in Shanghai and some time in Europe - two experiences and a good way to widen your potential job pool.

Hi Magnet,
Does EM Lyon have a real satellite campus in Singapore or is it just a delivery platform run by a local education provider?

hmmm it's hard to tell - here's the link to the campus pages on their website. From what it says they've got an office within the East China Normal University - Sounds like a proper satellite campus - but if it's based within another university then would it be run by them as well? Does anyone know?

If you are interested in studying your MBA at a top Chinese university in downtown Shanghai, I would strongly recommend Shanghai JiaoTong University, Antai College of Economics and Management. Antai is the only Chinese b-school to be triply accredited by AASCB, EQUIS, and The Association of MBAs, and has a good mix of International and Chinese students in classes taught in English International professors. The College also provides weekly Chinese lessons taught free of charge.
You can check out the website to learn more about the 2-year full-time International MBA program at: www.acem.sjtu.edu.cn/mba_EN/index.jsp.
