MBA with 2 years of IT work Exp
Tue May 26, 2009 04:40 AM Hi,i would like to know that how much weightage is given to a work exp of 2 years in IT industry(as developer) in good B school such as Manchester,Leeds,Liverpool,Bradford which requires managerial level work exp.i would also like to know how good is cardiff university, university of salford, coventry university according to my profile ,course structure, and job placements. A lack of managerial level work can be overcome if you emphasize any sort of leadership experience you had. This doesn't necessary mean being in charge of people, but it can also refer to a lot of things--helping your company earn lots of $$$, convincing your boss to make a decision due to your strong communication skills, strong team work in the extra-curricular area, etc. There are a number of people who get in immediately after uni. Why? Because they were able to present themselves as leaders in their essays. The essay is something you have power over in terms of wording and spin --- |
