Hi,

My name is Raphael, I am a BBM GRAD from INDIA. I have an offer for the Marketing Program from Manchester and Aston.

Which is a better school for the Msc program in reference to faculty, industrial links, experience and employability?

Cheers

It's unfortunate that despite all the advise given to you about the advantages of an MBA over a MSc, you still go on to settle for the latter. You should have your own reasons for opting for that.

As regards the two Universities, they seem to be in the same range in terms of rankings, but Manchester being bigger, you are bound to learn more. You are likely to have a wide exposure in a bigger University because of the number of students. Even when half of the class is not as experienced, the number that is will still remain larger. The question of where you did your studies should not be a factor and should therefore not even be brought into the picture. I have posted quite a number of qualms without mentioning where I have done my undergraduate studies.

Finally Aston is a very small Uni for PG studies but situated in a big city. Mnc is a big University in a comparatively smaller city. Go for Manchester to draw fro the experience of a large crowd.

Greetings from E-Jay !

hi i did see you previous posts all i have to say is, you have written that i s hould be trying for the 2nd tire Uni all i want to know is name then the best offer i have recived is Liverpool is that a good uni i think if its not an AMBA there is no point doing it. That the only reason why opted out of the MBA. I plan to so Masters in Aston and then work for a wile atleast for 3 years and then persu MBA. I belive this is what i am going to do as there is no point doing an MBA fomr any uni.

Please advise.

Hi raphael

If you do not have a significant working experience, pursuing a Master of Arts/ Science would be a good option. Working experience is important both both application and learning exposure when one does the MBA.

I wish you luck in your future dreams!

Kind regards,
Thomas
