I'm sure somebody will correct me if I'm wrong, but I think it looks well dodgy. No accreditation at all (apart , supposedly, from the University of Wales and some meaningless fluff about ), no course details available online, the staff don't appear to be up to much, the student testimonials and alumni section isn't accessible to anyone who hasn't already applied (application fee £100), their knowledge and understanding of English grammar is extraordinarily slight, they don't appear to have any entrance criteria at all, and the application form does little more than ask for your personal and credit card details.

Dude, they even go to ludicrous lengths to make sure you know its not a bogus degree.

Personally, if I wanted to throw away £6,900 I can think of much sexier ways to do so.

apart from this if you have any idea about any other good college providing MBA degree from any good university bcoz i hv limited finance and since tht i cant afford to go for UNI.

Never heard of it. Looks like yet another of these school's awarding a University of Wales MBA. It's not even listed in the Find-MBA directory.

Why are people talking nonsense in this thread ? Rayat London College is totally a genuine college, which you can easily find out by checking the accreditations on their website. As well as University of Wales, they're accredited by DIUS/DFES and offer courses from ABE and ACCA. Besides that I've been past their campus loads of times, and they're offering exactly what they say they do.

Look around online, the Uni of Wales MBA is pretty well rated, and I doubt you'd find it for a more competitive fee.

There are enough dodgy colleges about without smearing ones who are trying to do a good job.

lukeh: Rayat London College -MBA

I stand by what I said before, even though I've never been past their campus. You only have to google them to find plenty of people asking about them, and in every case the respondent doesn't say anything which substantially contradicts my previous statement. Maybe they do offer what they say they offer, maybe they are cheap, but the fact remains that they are not accredited by any internationally-recognised MBA accreditation body, and an MBA from them will not be of real help in gaining the career advancement a good-quality MBA from a top- or even second-tier university should. I was not in any way smearing Rayat College, merely drawing attention to what they themselves do and do not say on their website - usually the first port of call for anyone researching institutions at which study for an MBA. I, and, I suspect, many others, could not in good conscience recommend studying there when the range of options available to potential MBA students - including, for example, online and distance learning degrees - is so great. And, it should not be forgotten, so much better. As for the fee, well, there's an old maxim which, however much one might wish it weren't the case, tends to be true: "You only get what you pay for in this life". Nor, I'm afraid, is simply "trying to do a good job" an adequate qualification.

NB. Just to make sure I wasn't being unfair, I've now spent a considerable amount of time trying to connect to Rayat's home page. It isn't working.

i think this lukeh is a mental one with frustrated thoughts. May be he got no chance in the MBA programme. he told that the college is dodgy but what profile he is having? when you make one comment against a college you should be a Phd. This illiterate guy is a panique. Rayat London college is well established with a number of students who are much more professional than other college students. Commenting on a college indicates that you are idiot. Go to the home office and find about their students bound by law. there is no racial discrimination in this college. failed people who do not have at least a minimum qualification like this fool will make comments on these colleges whose rules and regulations are very tough.

Hi this is a funny thread!
looks as if some people don't know how to read nor write! and the funniest part is that they are looking for the "best MBA" ...

But I have a serious question also: What I this accreditation called DIUS/DFES? I have never heard about it, can you tell me more?
There immediately comes the next question: Does this school have any internationally recognized accreditation?

Hi
Well DUIS (Department for Innovation, Universities and Skills) DIUS is the government department that leads on accreditation and conformity assessment policy and has responsibility for implementing, in the UK, the changes that the Regulation requires. It has issued an information pack that identifies these changes and interprets some of the more complex provisions and DFES ,The Department for Education and Skills (DfES) was a United Kingdom government department between 2001 and 2007. It was responsible for the education system and children's services in England. On 28 June 2007 the department was split in two by Gordon Brown. The Department for Children, Schools and Families and the Department for Innovation, Universities and Skills took over its responsibilities.

Well Rayat London college was listed in DIUS first and now it is listed in DFES .

Hi Guys

My name is Paul Evans and I have actually taught on the MBA programme at Rayat College.

The Principal is Stuart Kewley who has a very very impressive acedemic record, the lecturers that he bought in to start this new course (validated by the University of Wales) are really top notch.

Hopefully by now you will have been able to get onto their website and look up the details.

There are some very dodgy places out there - and luke is right to warn you about them - but this is not one of them.

Do lots of homework and spend your money wisely!

If anyone needs any impartial advice very happy to help - I also teach in other colleges and it really also may depend on what your specialisation intends to be afterwards

@lukeh: Being a RLC student, I did not find any of the things you mentioned above. I think your source of information is bogus not the college. They have built a great reputation in these years.
There are only few quality private funded colleges and RLC is one of them, so please do not misguide the students and dont spread the rumors.
