I would think it depends on your fluency in French when you graduate. If, as should be the case after a year of living and studying in France at a good institution where French is the principle language of instruction, you are fluent, you should be in demand and very well placed. I know of at least acquaintance of mine who went to France, studied the language for 6 months, did a couple of internships, and landed a very good job at a top French-owned international company. If on the other hand your French language skills aren't up to scratch then you'll have trouble. But if you have English already, French should be easy.

Mon Apr 21, 2008 02:40 PM hi friends i wanted to know about the return on investment for a non french speaking student, completing a masters in international business course in french(from the grenoble graduate school of business and management), i mean what do english speaking international students do afterthe completion of the course?do they get a fair possibility to work in france or they find it easier to go to some other english speaking nation for their hunt for jor.... As the person who posted above notes, the MIB is taught in English. When you do the MIB, you do however receive French courses but apparently unless you are extremely motivated to learn French, it is unlikely you will have a good enough level of French after doing the MIB to be able to actually work in French. Lots of MIB student actually go back to their home countries to work, some stay in France (usually doing internships) and some work in a new country. According to this website www.towers.fr/mib-at-ggsb/mib-in-grenoble-master-i… from a former MIB student, it easy to at least get an internship in a French company after doing the MIB because the Grenoble Graduate school of Business has such a good reputation in France. |
