Hi Friends,
I am Abhilash.........i have done my B.E and working as a SQA for software company...i want to do a one year MBA in the US with specialization in Insurance and risk management or MIS.....please lemme know which universities are good..........thank you

None if the top tier MBAs listed, but a handful of possibilities for US, I would try them all.

You might want to redo the browsing for "risk"

Thank for ur reply. i have searched and found out tht Tennessee technological university does offer a MBA in Insurance and risk management. But, i donno much bout that university.....i mean if doing a MBA from TTU is worth it?
And also, as I am working as a SQA.....i have business knowledge in the insurance field...will it help me further?

My knowledge in your field is quite limited, so I would not be able to answer your last questions.

About the schools and the question if its worth to do an MBA, I had the feeling that most of those schools are among the middle class ones, not so bad but not so good either, and not reputed, especially not abroad.

But the choice of top schools with concentrations in risk management or insurance seems so limited, maybe should consider doing a general MBA if you already have a solid knowlegde in the field?

you should check out St John Univeristy. They have a school for Risk Manangement. Google St john and look folr risk management in graduate business school.
