EMBA vs MBA
this may be a stupid question, but what is the difference between a EMBA and a MBA? If you graduate, you still have the same credentials, correct (i.e., you're still a MBA graduate even if you're graduating from a EMBA correct, right?) ?

EMBA vs MBA
Yes, I have not seen anyone carrying the title EMBA yet ;-)Fri Feb 29, 2008 06:00 PM This is what I got from wikipedia: Executive MBA (EMBA) programs developed to meet the educational needs of managers and executives, allowing students to earn an MBA or another business-related graduate degree in two years or less while working full time. Participants come from every type and size of organization – profit, nonprofit, government — representing a variety of industries. EMBA students typically have a higher level of work experience, often 10 years or more, compared to other MBA students. In response to the increasing number of EMBA programs offered, The Executive MBA Council was formed in 1981 to advance executive education. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MBA Hope that helps! |

EMBA vs MBA
Hi Abhay, Sat Jun 21, 2008 01:36 PM depends on the type of experience - you count how many years you worked in a managerial position. Do you want information about good Indian programs or are you intersted in distance learning options? Attiya |
