I'm looking to apply to an MBA program which is distinguished, located in either France or Belgium, and has the best program in facilitating my career-transition from America to Europe.

Here's my short list
1.) HEC
2.) Solvay
3.) Vlerick Leuven Gent

Should EM Lyon be on the list? What happened to Solvay? They used to be in the top #20 two years ago, and now they're not listed in the top #100....

Also, if anyone knows how well job-placement is with these programs, I would greatly-appreciate the information.

Thanks very much.

Dear Tom,

I would also consider INSEAD in Fontainebleau, even though I heard some slightly negative comments stating that they don't do enough to keep up the high level.
HEC has a well established, solid reputation.
Vlerick has made quite some conclusive efforts to climb up the rankings in the recent years.
Those three options will allow you the best access to the European job market.

About EM Lyon, you find it in the international rankings, but its less a brand than the others. I advise you to contact the school directly to aks about the job placement.

Tom,
Insead and next HEC are the best options if you want to pursue the MBA in France.
The next options mentioned would be in a second/third tier, which is more risky for you considering the current scenario in the financial markets.

I would focus your search in the next list: France (Insead, Hec) UK (London, Oxford, Cambridge), IMD (Switzerland), IESE, ESADE (Spain).
