I am looking for a list of MBA programs that are strong in manufacturing/operations (but aren't on the top twenty MBA list) - my GMAT is only 610.

Hey dukie,

Using the research function of this site, I have found the following MBAs with the concentration manufacturing:
- Boston University (BU)
- University of Rochester
- Utah State University
- Washington University in Saint Louis
- Rochester Institute of Technology

I`m afraid I can`t tell you which one is worth the effort because my research was limited until now to European MBAs where my personal interest lies. I still hope I could help you a bit..

Have you checked US News & World Report? It has rankings by specialties, and one of them is Production/Operations. According to it, the top three schools are MIT, Carnegie Mellon and Purdue. I don't know about the schools below because I don't have a paid subscription, which you need to access the full ranking. MIT and Carnegie Mellon are perhaps out of reach, but you may want to try Purdue and check the other top ten schools.

which is a joint manufacturing/engineering MBA offered by the Ross School of Business, Ann Arbor, MI.
