I have 3 years of graduate diploma in fashion design and 2 years post graduate diploma in Apparel marketing and merchandising Management from a very repute institute in India. I have having 6 years of work experience in apparel field.

Presently I am planning for an MBA which can help me in personality development and getting high profile job keeping focus in Marketing and in Fashion & luxurious consumer products.

Pls guide me the best possible b-schools who can accept my educational qualifications and help me to achieve my targets. Your help here would truly be appreciated.

Hi Grey,

Since you don't say in your post what part of the world you'd like to study in, I'll take the liberty of assuming your interest in fashion knows no bounds (except possibly linguistic). If I were you I'd be looking to go somewhere in city where you can stay in touch with the fashion world, somewhere creative and exciting where you maybe get involved in the local fashion scene, make contacts, maybe do an internship or two while you're there - I know from friends' experience in fashion internships are very much where its at when in comes to getting ahead.

In which case, I'd have a look at places like New York, London or Paris. ESG Paris Graduate School of Management has an MBA which sounds right up your street, with concentrations in global marketing management and luxury brand management, and all the instruction is in English. In New York, both Columbia Business School and NYU Stern School of Business have MBA concentrations in brand/product marketing and various fields which might work well with your experience and qualifications. Imperial College London doesn't offer anything as specific as luxury brand management, but in addition to their MBA being highly regarded you'll also be but a stone's throw away from Central St. Martin's School of Art and Design, the London School of Fashion, and every up-and-coming John Galliano, Steve McQueen and Stella McCartney in the business.

Hi Grey,

The best thing I can do is refer you to this page from the discussion board, which covers, I think, all three of your questions: www.find-mba.com/board/3931/last/#last

Have you used the tabs at the top of the Find MBA website to see the profiles for for ESG and ESSEC? Both of them are featured on here, and links to their homepages are provided. I note that ESSEC has a strong commitment to maintaining its alumni association, which I'm sure would be a very useful thing when it comes to finding employment afterwards.

Likewise, for SDA check out this discussion, which appears to offer a very balanced perspective, based on people's actual experience: www.find-mba.com/university/448/sda-bocconi and www.find-mba.com/board/2290/last/#last
