Germany
Does anyone have information on European University?? Interested in getting MBA in Germany or other German speaking countries. I have 3 years of medical device sales, marketing. Do not perform very well on standardized tests and the Gmat gives me hell. However, graduated from an accredited university in business with a 3.60. Was the youngest in the company's sales division. Any information would help, thanks.

In order to find out, if the MBA you are interested in, is worth something, you may check if the program is accredited. As far as I see on their website, they use a frequent "trick", presenting themselves as being accredited, but in reality they are only MEMBERS of the accr. institutions they name, which does not confer accreditation! That goes for FIBAA, AACSB. I didn´t go through all the list, you should do that, but if it goes on with only memberships, I don´t find it serious that the page has the title: "Accreditations+memberships" ... Interesting is the recognition by "Ministry of Education of Malta (official authorization)". ok... I understand that you are not looking for a top lever MBA, but try to find a program that is at least accredited. Sure, I'm interested in an accredited mba! I graduated from Loyola with honors. I can speak some German and looking for more of an international job. I guess what I was inferring is that I'm not good at the Gmat which makes me somewhat apprehensive. I'm smart and have a good work ethic. Its just the Gmat that is holding me back. I've been over seas many times and have relatives in Germany and Ireland. You're right, I have looked thru some of those schools and they dont have the accreditation that is what is necessary. About the GMAT you will have to look up de admission requirements of each b-school individually, I don't come up with any hint here, sorry. But if you don't apply for a top level MBA, you might be able to balance your low GMAT with other things. A you know, what counts also is work experience, GPA, recommendations, and admission test/interview.
