All courses of IICT are autonomous.
More than 15 countries students are already persuing IICT courses, since 1997.
IICT courses are highly recommended, reputed and accepted courses in industry/Corporate sector for last 11 years.

There is no entrance test for admission. It is direct.
The Admission into the IICT Distance Learning Programs is open throughout the year and
you can enroll at any time if you meet the eligibility criteria.

Area offered : Retail Management, Banking , Foreign Trade , Marketing , Finance, HRD, Tourism, Software Marketing, Pharmaceutical Marketing, Insurance, Hospital management , Information technology, Operations,CRM

(under dual specialisation opt any two area)
2) Its a Distance Learning Course.

3) Payment of MBA / MBA dual specilization COURSE Fee :

a) In case of course fee in Lumpsum : Rs 19555/- (for indian student)
Or
b) In case of Instalment scheme :
i) Ist Instalment of course fee : Rs.10450 /-
ii) IInd Instalment of course fee (after 10month) : Rs 10050/-
or
c) In case of Instalment scheme II :
i) Ist Instalment of course fee : Rs.6795 /-
ii) IInd Instalment of course fee (after 4 month) : Rs 4795/-

iii) IIIrd Instalment of course fee (after 8 month) : Rs 4795/-

iv) IVth Instalment of course fee (after 12 month) : Rs 4795/-

4) Exam fee Rs 125 per subject payable semesterwise on dates specified in your admission letter.

5)For Prospectus and Application , You can send DD/IPO of Rs 70/- favouring Indian Institute of Commerce and Trade payable at Lucknow from IICT,5/28,Vikas Nagar,Lucknow-226022.

6)You can download Application and Prospectus form from website www.iict.in

Hello rishi,
Sounds interesting what you write about IICT Lucknow. Until now I was only considering US or UK programs, but why not broaden the choice..
I guess you work for that school? Could you then give me some more info please? I have no idea about indian b-schools, I'm curious about the standing of IICT among Indian schools, is it a top tier school, how is it perceived in India and abroad.
If you could give me an idea about the tuition in dollars, that would be great! thx in advance!

I'm currently looking for a distance learning MBA, that's why I wanted to get more info from rishi. So yes, for me it happened to be interesting, especially the question I asked about the international appeal of that program. Is that a problem for you??
BTW no answer that question, and no entrance test etc. Does not look as an important school, so nothing for me - great that's all I needed to know.
And it is obvious rishi works for that school, he does not even hide it, but I'm sure we, readers of that board, are all smart enough to filter the given info in that sense, come on

Hi Piwi,
there are a lot of B-Schools in India, I think in more than 300 insitutions you can do a MBA. But most of them don't have any international fame, so you should consider only some very few, carefully chosen programs.
Best is the Indian Institute of Management in Ahmedabad, IIM A.
You should have a look through the different rankings of Indian schools: www.find-mba.com/mba-rankings

You even find a link there to the best Asian distance learning programs! If that's not something for you...

But may I ask you why you would study in India? Or Asia in general?

Greetings!
I have been working with one of India's top 3 IT companies. As program manager, I keep moving from one country to another on projects and hence, I wish to go for a ‘distance’ MBA programme. I wish to do it from UK -- I have done some research considering 3 points 1) Accredited Degree 2) Competitive Price and 3) 100% Distance learning (online/text-based). I reckon I have two choices – 1) University of Wales (through rdi.co.uk) and 2) University of Leicester

Wales is comparatively cheaper; however, the Degree they offer does not seem to be accredited - need some feedback on my two choices!

Please help

Hello mukerjee,
Thanks for your advice. In fact, since I'm not Asian myself, I think for me it makes sense to do an MBA at an Indian school only if I intend to work in India or another Asian country afterwards. Otherwise potential employers would ask me the same question as you: why India??
And even then I guess the school you mention is probably the only option, because I should make sure to chose a top Indian school.

Right, piwi, I was going to write you something in that sense...
The advantage of doing a distance learning MBA is that you can pick whatever location, so you should go for an internationally renowned program. There is this one program which has a strong reputation, but it makes more sense for you to study in a good school in the US or in Europe. Unless you plan to work in India, as you say.

If you want to know more about Indian schools, just ask!

I found that IICT offers 1 year MBA but it is not valid or recognised for HSMP visa for UK.Please let me recogised colleges.

How do you know that distance MBA from IICT is not recognizable for HSMP.

If I am not wrong any Masters degree holder is eligible to apply for HSMP
