Sun Aug 19, 2007 08:22 PM Hi all, Just wondering if someone could recommend a part-time program in Europe that runs a few days monthly rather than on weekly basis. Thanks!! |

Hi, maybe you can be a bit more precise about the location? Would you study in Spain, UK, Romania, and Norway, indifferently? I can hardly imagine ;-)Mon Aug 27, 2007 02:45 PM I did a lot of research about European MBA programs, if you need some info. Waiting for you comments then. |

Best part-time MBAs in Europe
Wed Aug 29, 2007 07:52 PM Hi! Thanks for your kind answer. Actually the mobility is not a big deal for me as soon as the program is in Europe and part-time (modular one). I am from Spain and I've been living in Scandinavia for a while so I am used to go from one corner to the another. I am searching for a modular MBA with focus on entrepreneurship. I like the program in Helsinki, but I am also considering Leeds, Nottingham, Maastrich, Nyenrode, Warwick and a few others. Thanks! |

I see. Actually I was just wondering because if your intention is to do a full time MBA, flexibility makes sense. But I'm a bit surprised in the case of a part time MBA, especially what you are looking for, with week-end and evening courses. That's a model specifically designed for people working more or less full time, while doing their MBA. So it seems that whereever you'll study it will be easy for to immediately find a job, that's good, you have a good profile I guess.Thu Aug 30, 2007 10:40 AM As a first program I was going to advise you FHW in Berlin, their part-time MBA with focus entrepreneurship offers the flexibility timewise which you are looking for. But... job market is really bad in Berlin, so maybe not a good idea. I think the best other part time program with that focus is definitely the one at HSE you mention. Nottingham seems to be a good school too. Maybe you can have a look at Danube University Krems. Nyenrode and Leeds are ok, Warwick is of course better. Although I'm not so sure that they offer the kind of MBA you are looking for. [Edited by a_mukerjee on 30 Aug 2007] |

Oh yes, I have heard about it, their EMBA must be good - I don't know if it's the best in Europe..Fri Sep 07, 2007 01:18 PM But in this thread we were more talking about part-time MBAs ;-) and there HSE seems to really be the best option in Europe. |

It is a good moment to do an MBA, if you have 5 years of work experience now. And I agree, HSE is THE school to do this in Finland.Mon Oct 01, 2007 02:45 PM You should check out their website, to see if you fulfil all admission requirement in terms of profil, GMAT etc, and to know about the tuition: www.hseee.fi/content.php?&id=1008&m=53&sm=351 good luck! |
