For anyone interested in an MBA program with concentration on energy in the USA, see this interview with Joseph Doucet of the university of Alberta:

blog.find-mba.com/2009/01/18/joseph_doucet_alberta…

the program there is ten years old and seems pretty good. it is ranked at 88 by the FT.

Congratulation for your MBA Oil and Gas Management program in Aberdeen.
I am Pintcho Rabanne from SPAIN. Please tell me what is the closing date for application (year 2008-2009).
How long do you take for processing application and send response to applicant.

Very important for me.

Dear Pintcho,

The closing date for application to the full-time or distance learning version of the course is August 15 2009 for those students beginning in September 2009.

The distance learning and executive part-time course has a January intake also and the closing date for this is December 10.

The response rate to applications is usually under 10 days to reach a decision. It is often shorted.

If I can help further you can correspond with me directly at a.scott@rgu.ac.uk

Regards,

Allan Scott

Dear Allan Scott,

I am very impress with your MBA program, wish I knew six months ago. I am starting my MBA program next month at Walden University. My question is.. Can I take some courses at your school online or transfer my second year. I used to work Lehman Brothers, it is time for a career change.

P.S I am seeking MBA in Finance at Walden.

Hi, I'm a resident of New Delhi, India.
I just completed my B.tech in Petroleum Engineering from India itself and am presently working with Ernst & Young.
I went through the curriculum for the joint MBA/LLM degree offered by your university and am indeed very interested.
However, I was keen to apply for the spring semester and the dates for form submission have passed.
I dont need to give TOEFL i guess because my schooling and graduation is from English medium institutes.
Is it possible to get through the spring semester quota if i apply now. Please let me know
