Hi all !

First let me introduce ! I am Prabhak from India and is with a back ground in the field of Diploma in tool & die making.Itz a 3 1/2 years diploma programme which deals with tool making etc..and not a under graduate programme. I presently work for a french based MNC located in India as the cadre of Dep. Head and my total work experience is 7 years,
Fortunately i shall be moving shortly to my Austalian office in Melbourne.
To keep me occupied , i would request you all to provide me suggestions to persue a Masters degree programme on a part time basis / distance learning programme basis with my present diploma course certificate + 7 yrs experience.

So keep me posted if therez any possibilities to persue a masters programme.

Thanks
Prabhak

Hi Prabhak,
With 7 years of experience, and being in a position of responsibility (if I got this right), in my opinion it would be a good moment in you career to think about further qualification.

Maybe I could give you some ideas and advice, but I didn't understand what kind of a diploma you are currently holding. Can you explain that a bit more to me?

Hi Kate,
Thanks for your response

To make a brief on my Diploma - Itz a 3 1/2 years programme (full time) with 2 sessions of Training at the industry with 6 months each (Sandwich Programme). The diploma is in the field of TOOL & DIE MAKING which has a detailed study on tooling like the tools for plastic components , steel components. This is more on a mechanical based subject and is approved by the Indian Government and is also recognized all round the globe. If you still have queries , i should be able to send the copies of the certificate to your mail ID if provided.

Regards
Prabhak

Hello Prabhak,
Actually what you need is a University degree of bachelor level, or equivalent. Is that the case?
If yes, and if you've held management positions in the last years, an MBA (or EMBA according to your professional experience) would suit you perfectly. I strongly encourage you to go for it!
