Hello Gino, talking about good programs, as far as I know ESCP-EAP in Turin is the only one represented in the rankings. Not a big choice. You should consider applying to MBAs in other countries at the same time, just in case.

The only Top Ranked MBA in Italy is Bocconi one in Milan.Mon Feb 26, 2007 06:32 PM You can find information about it in Financial Times ranking on line or on the internet site of Bocconi University mba.sdabocconi.it/home/index_eng.php |

Hello massimo, thank you for this advice! Tue Feb 27, 2007 04:18 PM I'm quite surprised that there is only one ranked program, and I'd be curious to know why. What is your opinion of that program in Torino? Gino [Edited 27 Feb 2007 by gino] |

Hi Gino,Fri May 04, 2007 02:32 PM the fact is that Bocconi is the only school with more than 4 years in the international MBA. As far as I know, the second best BS in italy is MIP, always in Milan. |

Sat May 05, 2007 08:28 PM Hello massimo, thank you for this advice! I do not know the school in Torino personally , but I have a couple of friends which attended that school for undergraduate programs. I think that it has a good name for such undergraduate degree, but honestly it seems to me that their MBA is not very well known at least in Italy. It is true that at the best of my knowledge the second most known Business School in Italy is MIP in Milan. I think that a lot depends from your background and expectations. In investment banking (where I work) and Consultant Bocconi is clearly the first choice, but I am sure that for other fields or ambitions different schools could be good. Good luck for your choice. Good MBA in Italy
Hello Massimo.Mon May 07, 2007 11:00 AM For me what most counts is the reputation the program has in Italy. Anyhow, if an Italian MBA is not renowned in Italy itself, it must be completely ignored internationally. Since you work in investment banking, and you have more insights in the sector, can you tell me a bit more on employers aprehension of the Bocconi MBA? [Edited 07 May 2007 by gino] |
