What are the recognized full-time double degree MBA/LLM programs in Canada that do not have a work experience requirement?

hi inem,
If you are a brilliant student go to York Schulich! They offer a double degree MBA - Law, no working experience req. It's an LLB, not LLM, but consider, its one of the top schools worldwide. Or do you have an LLB already?
Besides, several others offer double degrees (working experience required) like British Columbia (Sauder) and McGill etc.. I guess it's mostly LLBs though.

I guess these programs are pretty rare. All I can think of is trying these searches:
www.llm-guide.com/search/q/mba
www.find-mba.com/search/q/llm

The program in Scotland you mentioned is probably the Dundee CEPMLP, right?

That's what I thought too, I didn't know about any degree offered in Canada to do a combined MBA/LLM.
And as well you require this very specialised combination of mineral law and policy in your LLM!
good luck

I have friends who did an LLB/MBA combined at Dalhousie and were quite happy with the program.

Hello, this is Maite.
I want to do a combined degree MBA with law, since I already have a degree in law. I´m curious about that program at Dalhousie, do you have more information?

If your friends started working right away, what kind of jobs did they find after doing this MBA/LLB? Or did they continue their law studies, is that smarter maybe? I don´t really know i an LLB is enough, if it adds so much to your profile.

It is ranked in the international rankings, at least not in the FT nor the EIU rankings. I did not check the regional rankings, you should have a look, and let me know, I'm curious.
In general I think the school is not so much known internationally. therefore I presume that job prospects are rather local.

If i were to know that...i would`nt have asked. I guess ur right as far as ranking goes, it does`nt seem to be around anywhere. But its supposedly the value for money MBA..MBA at reasonable price...

As always - "reasonable" price means lower prestige and quality of the program. There are thousands of those medium range MBAs in the world, qualified opinion about those is really difficult to find unless you talk to someone doing the program.

About the rankings, sure, but you know I had to scout for the information also, I went through the international rankings to answer you question, but then just didn't have time anymore to do the regional rankings on top of it. - If you are looking for an info, some of the research work you could maybe do also... no?
