Goethe doesn't have the same deep connections, being a new, struggling school in a state university. Hi Duncan, why WHU and HHL are both great? Do you know the alumni? Keep in mind that the one-year programs will generally offer shorter internships (INSEAD's internships take place in a six week time frame) - whereas internships in the longer programs (LBS, IESE) can last up to 12 weeks.
