MBA in Asia with Technology concentration

Hi ,
I have 4 years of experience in IT and I am planning to do my MBA in Asia ( preferably in Singapore) with strong focus in technology. Can somebody please suggest me good institutes considering my focus on technology ?
I would like to enter a consultant kind of role that helps business to achieve its goal with the help of technology.
Also, it will be great if you can throw some light on job prospects of MBA with focus on Tech. in Singapore.

Thanks

Nanyang is the obvious place to start, but please use the program search - www.find-mba.com/search

Absolutely right. NTU has a MBA with specializations, including Technology.

Thanks a lot !
Can you please comment on job prospects and what kind of profiles offered to people with tech. focus.

As we know Singapore is banking hub, finance is the hottest specialization. Are the salaries offered to Tech. focusing people is lesser than people with Finance specialization ?

There are other good inst. also like SMU, NUS,INSEAD which I would like to consider.

Any idea about James cook University. How good is the program and job prospects?

Generally, yes - although this is not always the case. It will depend on the firm and the capacity you're hired in.

I'd consider NUS as well - they place almost a third of their graduates in technology companies (where Nanyang places about 13%.) Average starting salaries are comparable as well.

Any idea about James cook University. How good is the program and job prospects?

I wouldn't even consider this program if you're looking at higher-caliber programs like Nanyang or NUS.

The full-time MBAs at NUS (Especially for Citi), Nanyang (Especially for Credit Suisse) and INSEAD (Especially for Standard Chartered) have the best alumni base in Singapore banks.

Those top three schools have similar sized networks in the US and in Singapore, especially in Deusche Bank and Credit Suisse. It's better, however, to study in the country where you want to work so you can connect to employment opportunities directly.

In the US, INSEAD, NUS and Nanyang alumni tend to end up in management consulting or financial services roles than in banking. High tech firms with bases in Singapore, like Microsoft and HP, also employ many of their alumni in the US.

hi,
One of the best MBA with technology concentration is in the Asian Institute of Technology School of Management. It has Asia's oldest MBA in Management of Technology (www.som.ait.ac.th)

I don't think I'd put AIT on the same level as the schools being discussed in this thread (NUS, INSEAD, SMU, NTU.) In any case, OP was looking for a program in Singapore and that school's not even accredited.

AIT is a fine school supported well by Paris Chamber of Commerce. They have some decent education for underdeveloped countries.

They teach fully in English and the faculty has proper credentials. The education is above the country' standard.

If you come from East Timor or Laos or BUrma where speaking semifluent English is an asset and many people appreciate highly overseas study then AIT is a good deal.

I would consider teaching of the courses there but afraid that I have not much to learn from my colleagues or subordinates
