Hey Maja, which programme did you got for? I'm from Germany and I want to do an MBA in London next year. I consider applying to London Business School, Imperial College (Tanaka), and City University (Cass). All of them are among the the FT Top 100 MBA programmes, but I do not know much else about these programmes. I would appreciate if anyone could share his/her experience with these programs or any other info regarding an MBA in London. Thanks!

I think all three of the mentioned programs are the top London programs, internationally recognised and attended by many internaitonal students. It is London afterall! Work experience probably varies. The "Official MBA Handbook" is loaded with such information about UK b-schools.

Thanks Sven, that's what I figured. I might look look for the "Official MBA Handbook" to get more background info. Has anyone heard about "London School of Business and Finance" by the way?

It's difficult to give a general statement for all UK schools, can you narrow it down to a few schools you are interested in?

I'm an American national entering an MBA programme in February 07. However, I'm taking the 6 month pre MBA programme as well. US Financial aid doesn't cover the cost of it. Does anyone know of any sort of funding or aid that might help? I appreciate any advice.

It always helps to ask the people at the school you are taking the pre-MBA classes, they should know if there are special funding opp. offered by the respective institution. For the rest, a few links can be found at www.find-mba.com/funding-your-mba .

Thanks! I haven't heard of it either. It's partly taught by distance learning which is not exactly what I would be looking for.
