Hi,

Couple of things I considered were:

1. Accreditation - Birmingham has 2 now.
2. Location - 2nd largest city
3. International reputation - Well known in India..so if I happen to come back..
4. Rankings in the past years - 75 in FT
5. Lastly, the most important one for me..fees. - Reasonably lower compared to colleges in the same tier.

Hi,

I am new to this forum. I have also got offer from Leicester, Sheffiled and Birmingham. Finally, I have decided to go with Birmingham.
Apart from the advantages already listed, I have chosen it because of my professional contacts in birmingham. I have lived there in the past for 6 months and I know the city very well !!
Anyone, going for September 2010 intake, could you please contact me @ [email protected]

Hi there.

I'm joining to the Birmingham MBA in Jan'2011.
Is anyone registered in that programme? Please send me a mail to start a contact and we can look for accommodation near the university.

Hi Parulsh,
I would recommend for Bradford over Birmingham. I studied in Bradford 2008-09 and lot of my batch mates have got an offer of 35K+ let me know if you need help in getting through Bradford.
As per FT 2010 ranking Bradford School of Management is ranked 9th in the UK far above Birmingham
Hi any body planning to to MBA from Bradford University UK can contact me. being an alumini of Bradford Universiy i can help you in getting admission provided if you can show 3 years of managerial work experience just before starting your MBA program. please let me know if you need any help. and for your information Bradford is now in top 10 in the UK according to FT ranking 2010. Please check the following link www.brad.ac.uk/management/news-and-events/news/101…

Hi,
Well a good b-school always update their course content and offer modules as per the market demand. they have these modules because they know its will help when you go for employment. Since you are an Art student, i think you would need to to put more efforts in the area where you lack in knowledge and experience, but it wont be difficult as these course are meant for students from all different backgrounds.

Hi Well I believe 3 years of work Ex is not enough for both Bradford and Birmingham, however will be able to tell you more on this once i get to see your CV in order to learn the relevance of the work experience you already have.
So if you have good work exp with lot of achievement and you manage to convince the admission team that you can contribute to their MBA cohort then you might get an offer from them. however i would like you to email me your CV so that i can try discussing with Brad admission coordinator.
Regards
Mamit
