although not a top program it is supposed to be a solid program. it holds AMBA and EQUIS accreditation, which is good, and has a rank of 70(3 years average) in FT. the best ranking it got there was 53 in 2008.Thu Jan 21, 2010 01:51 PM use this school profil at the economist to drew some more infos: www.economist.com/media/wmba/bra.pdf this program is offered in lots of countries over the world. where do you plan to enroll? |

Hey Hi!Mon Feb 01, 2010 10:20 AM I have an offer from Bradford MBA. Although this is the only option I have now till date but still I am bit tentative on my decision . I have an Offer from Strathclyde MBM program. Feed back which I had received for Bradford is not depressing but at the same time not encouraging also. Please provide your comments ............ I have an offer from Bradford as well.Wed Feb 03, 2010 05:49 PM The main disadvantage of the Bradford MBA is that it doesn't have a AACSB accreditation. So, if you have any plans of finding employment in USA then Bradford isn't the best option. However, you can always join a company in India or UK and move to US as a L1 employee. But H1 might be difficult to obtain with a Bradford MBA. As far as reputation is concerned, Bradford is pretty well known amongst Indian recruiters, especially in the IT sector. The university offers a course which I've heard is pretty good in quality and treats international students well. This is a good choice for a low cost MBA and defnitely not a place where you just buy a piece of paper with money. Thanks Anirban |

AACSB accreditation only ensures that if the degree is not known in USA then the US recruiters will have something to check it against. For Oxford students, the reputation outlives any accreditations.Thu Feb 04, 2010 05:37 AM You are right that many good schools in Europe doesn't have AACSB ratings - some of them are Brimingham Univ, Univ of Bath, Nottingham Univ etc. |

YagnaFri Feb 19, 2010 11:10 AM Though I am not dulsban but I can throw light upon the choice. Aston is good in terms ranking ....... I find no reason to leave Aston for Bradford or Durham.... Durham will cost you 19000 GBP and Bradford 20000 GBP so that can be deciding factor coz 3000 GBP do matter a lot Aston is 23000 gbp If cost wise you see Bradford is nice to stay and is cheap. Bradford ranked 53 in 2008 so this can also be a factor to consider seeing the average ranking FT ranking clearly say that colleges from 70th to 100th is of same catergory... so I would suggest Aston > Bradford> Durham u can join the community link i provided to find more details |

For starters let's rectify the way "University" should be spelled :-) I know it was just a typo and then rippling effect of copy n paste.Mon Feb 22, 2010 08:34 PM In terms of recognition in India, Birmingham steals the show simply because of its age and research contributions in various fields. When it comes to pure management studies things might be a little different...but keeping in view the location advantage I'll keep Birmingham ahead of the others. You haven't mentioned what course you are talking about. I guess that would help people to respond better. Birmingham has a lot of PG degree courses under their dept of business. Which one did you apply for? Thanks Anirban |
